A county fair fit for the whole family

Widely considered the best bed and breakfast Hampshire has, our establishment is one that places an emphasis on personal service and attention. With a selection of rooms, freedom of space, a breakfast room with individual tables, and a bespoke sitting room, Harvest House offers you all the luxuries present in a hotel but at a lower cost. If you need somewhere to stay during your time in the region, then our B&B should be your first choice.

Taking place at the end of April and beginning of May, the Hampshire County Fair returns to Netley Marsh Showground again this year after a highly successful run in 2016. Three huge arenas are set to pop up, all of which shall feature daylong entertainment that is suitable for the entire family. Attractions include the likes of country sports, dare devil stunts and much more.

In order to stick with the family theme, a host of child-friendly activities will be a part of the festivities. Puppet shows, water balls, face painting, bouncy castles and the like all come together to provide a day filled with nothing but fun. Every show is open from 10am up until 6pm and if restrained enough, dogs are welcome.

Take your time, enjoy brilliant, action packed displays and demonstrations within the arena. If you can’t get enough, then the Have a Go country sports sessions and Food Glorious Food events are certain to satisfy you.

Marquees set up at the site shall play host to a vast selection of exquisite local and tasty refreshments, alongside some outstanding arts and crafts pieces. The fair is famous for its first class craftsmanship, so if you’re the arty type of person, then you definitely can’t miss this opportunity.

At Harvest House we give you somewhere nice and comfortable to sleep after you become worn out from your daily outings. Each room in our bed and breakfast is different aesthetically, but they all offer an equally pleasing experience. We are knowledgeable on the events that take place throughout the local area, so if you would like to know anything, just ask us.
