The New Forest offers many opportunities for adventure and active pursuits, but sometimes we just want to get away from it all and enjoy a little rest and relaxation away from the pressures of daily life and work. Late summer and early autumn provides the perfect chance for a quiet, relaxing break outside of the school holidays. The weather usually remains pleasant and warm, and many of the more popular destinations are a good deal less crowded. Here at Harvest House, we understand the needs of those who want to enjoy a serene getaway, and we provide peaceful and luxurious rooms with superb facilities in the heart of one of the UK’s most stunning regions.
We’re not only renowned for our rooms, but also our location. A unique feature of our bed and breakfast in Lymington is that it gives you easy access to both the wonders of the New Forest and the beach at Milford on Sea. Although these spots are wonderful all year round, they are particularly beautiful during September and the first days of October, when the last days of summer transform into the early throes of autumn. There’s something very special about the colours and scents of the woodlands during this season, making it the ideal time to enjoy some relaxing strolls.
There’s also something just as magical, comforting and romantic about the beach in the autumn. This is particularly true of Milford on Sea, one of the most charming traditional seaside villages in Hampshire. There’s nothing more soothing than peaceful afternoon and early evening walks along the beach, watching as the sea gently rolls along and the sun sets.
If any of the above sounds appealing to you, then you can understand why we’re proud to have our bed and breakfast located here. We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing and peaceful stay this autumn at our B&B, where you can enjoy excellent accommodation, delicious food and plenty of beautiful places to explore.
