The natural beauty of the New Forest attracts visitors throughout the year and we are proud to offer you the exceptional facilities of Harvest House, bed and breakfast in New Forest. We are a luxurious Bed and Breakfast on the coastal border of the New Forest National Park. Our location is ideally situated and we enjoy uninterrupted, stunning views that reach to the Isle of Wight and beyond.
Harvest House was designed by a popular local Edwardian architect, William Ravenscroft in the early 1920’s and the integrity of this building has always been of utmost importance. The addition of a dining room on the north side of the property is the only work to be carried out on the house and our architect applied sympathy and respect. We also removed the tennis court to make way for the lawn resulting in fantastic views and simple idyllic beauty.
Here at Harvest House we unashamedly target the luxury end of the B & B market as we are completely confident that we are providing luxurious service. We are very proud to enjoy patronage from today’s discerning Bed & Breakfast guest.
Our wonderful grounds enable us to offer you the enchanting gift of space and the sense of freedom that accompanies it. We offer you secure parking in somewhat secluded grounds that are heavenly in fine weather, with mesmerising views and high quality B & B services. We know you want to enjoy the pleasing calm of a short getaway and we provide all the convenience of a B & B stay with that little something extra. All the elements of Harvest House, bed and breakfast in New Forest combine to create a relaxing, peaceful time with a touch of extravagance.
Furthermore, you can take a five minute walk from Harvest House to the charming village centre to enjoy its collection of pubs, shops and restaurants. If that wasn’t enough a further five minutes walk will take you to the nearest beach. The village still retains its gentle, traditional feel as many of its historical buildings are still standing. The literal meaning of Milford is ‘the ford by the mill’, it started out as a Saxon village and was originally described in the Domesday Book.
