Dive into some local activities

Bed and breakfast establishments have always been an appealing choice for people who are looking for somewhere to stay whilst on holiday. Being both spacious and luxurious, Harvest House is consistently viewed as one of the finest in the New Forest area. With a choice of three distinct rooms, each offering a fantastic experience to the inhabitants, you can fully enjoy the wonders of the B&B and discover what it is that people find so attractive.

For families, holidays are a time to relax and have some fun. Fortunately for our visitors, the nearby National Park and settlements scattered across the region are none too short of activities for both the people of all ages.

Lymington Sea Water Baths is one such place where entertainment is in abundance. It’s the oldest and largest open air salt water baths. Going all the way back to 1833, it has caught the attention of the nation, thanks in no small part to its health strengthening waters and mud. Also among the activities here are a children’s paddling pool and sandpit, along with supervised kayaking and climbing.

With three pools, including a 75 meter flume, tipping bucket pirate ship, water cannons, bubble seats and the rapids from which the centre is named, The Rapids is the ultimate in water-based excitement. Children under age 8 have to be accompanied by an adult here on a 1:2 basis and any non-swimmers shall be required to wear armbands. It can get busy here and when it does, limitations on sessions will be in operation at the swimming pools.

Although the autumn has arrived there are still plenty of opportunities to get in the water and enjoy some watersports. You need to be aware of the conditions though and plan accordingly for your visit.

At Harvest House Bed and Breakfast we want everyone to make the most of their visit to the New Forest. For people looking to find all the quality of a hotel, while at the same time wanting a more personalised service, our B&B is the best place to find such an experience. If you’d like any information about us or the local area and attractions on offer, we’d be more than happy to help.
