From the 3rd to the 19th of April, Beaulieu is offering a fun filled way for families visiting the New Forest National Park to celebrate Easter. The National Motor Museum has a packed programme of fun-filled events for visitors including a giant Scalextric track and driving experiences. The mini driving circuit is for younger drivers and there are also Go-Karts for older ones. There’ll also be a unique take on the Easter egg hunt; at the National Motor Museum you’ll be hunting cars instead.
Alongside the festivities the Museum will be celebrating the opening of two new exhibitions. The Grand Prix Greats display is a thrilling ride from the early days of racing all the way to modern day Formula 1. There are cars on show, rare memorabilia and rolling film footage to enjoy. A special showcase documenting how safety has improved over the last 60 years is also viewable.
Road, Race and Rally is the second new exhibition and takes visitors on a fantastic trip through the history of rallying. The show features a number of vehicles including rare road-going sports cars and off-road rally cars too. The display charts various disciplines and celebrates the courage and skill of drivers involved in them.
Also at Beaulieu this Easter visitors can stop by Palace House, get their face painted and play with a selection of Victorian toys and games. If you visit on Easter Sunday (April 5th) or Bank Holiday Monday (6th) you can also take part in the Canoeing Easter Egg Hunt and have the chance to explore the river for a secret trove of eggs. If this wasn’t enough your ticket gives you access to the World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and the Secret Army Exhibition too.
The New Forest is a great place to visit all year round and offers countless incredible attractions. If you are considering staying at a bed and breakfast in the New Forest while you enjoy all the attractions and events of the area, we can offer you excellent accommodation at a great price.
